Angela Tarlinton's photographic work consists mostly of portraits of teens on the cusp of adulthood; using the realm of adolescence she explores emerging and changing aspects of identity.

Angela is an Australian Photographer currently living in Newcastle NSW. She received her BA (Visual Communication) degree in Photography in 2008.  Her work has been exhibited widely in Australian galleries including the Art Gallery of NSW, Centre for Contemporary Photography and the Australian Centre for Photography. Tarlinton has received awards from the International Photography Awards in New York, the Olive Cotton Award and the Px3 Prix de la Photographie in Paris. She has been selected twice as a finalist for the National Photographic Portrait Prize and is a winner of the Perth Centre for Photography’s IRIS Award. Her work is held in public and private collections worldwide.
